You know we are celebrating May the 4th HARD over here at The Disney Social. Tune in this Thursday for tons of ideas on how you can celebrate too. You might as well start with the most adorable drink this side of Tatooine: The Baby Yoda.
These pics are from my celebrations last year. I bought a cocktail kit from a local bar (Sidedoor Bar), but I found a great dupe recipe for you on Cocktail Chemistry Lab, that is fairly close to the one I had last year! It’s not too sweet and made with gin – my fav.
Ingredients:
- .75oz (22.5ml) of dry gin
- .75oz (22.5ml) of green chartreuse
- .75oz (22.5ml) of maraschino liqueur
- .75oz (22.5ml) of fresh lime juice
- Coupe, brown napkin and string (I subbed a double old-fashioned glass, felt, and twine)
- 2 luxardo maraschino cherries (I subbed two blueberries (preferably similar in size))
- lime wedges, sliced .25in thick
Presentation:
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and mix
- Place the lime wedges on each side of the glass (Yoda Ears)
- Use a large toothpick to skewer the blueberries (for eyes)
- Wrap the felt around the DOF and secure with twine.
Join us next week when we will talk about more fun May the Fourth ideas:
