DISNEY PHONE WRISTLET

by | Apr 13, 2022 | Experiences, Lifestyle

Time for some Disney accessory fun! Recently, I jumped on the phone wristlet trend. If you haven’t yet, then you are missing out! It’s great for those times when you’re carrying WAY too much in your hands to avoid another trip between the house and your car (my personal best is eight grocery bags, a Tim Hortons coffee and a French bulldog). It also comes in handy when you’re searching for your phone in an oversized, overstuffed purse. I know I’m not the only offender here! The frantic, anxiety-ridden rummaging is so last year. Also, phone wristlets are pretty and add a bit of individuality and personal fashion flair to your tech.

These ones are especially good to add some oomph to your Disney outfits – one for each outfit if you choose. You can store them in your Stoney Clover pouches (check out that article under our lifestyle section.)

I love my wristlet from String Ting and suggest you always support entrepreneurs, especially women. However, I believe there is room in everyone’s wardrobe for multiples. Check out my DIY Disney version of a wristlet below, I gravitate to a good rainbow ombré colour story (as showcased below). Choose whatever colour combos speak to you. Let your creative juices flow!

I found the beads on Amazon (linked here) and the white beads and satin string at Michaels.

Then I just threaded the beads onto the string, once you have your desired length, top it off with a white mickey head and it’s time to knot the loop off. Tie a knot at the top of the beads, loop the loose ends around the open sections of your phone case (the speaker sections work well), then tie off the loose ends around the double knot at the top of the beads, so that it sits as flush to your case as possible. This takes practice, give yourself a long length of rope to do so. Cut off any loose ends and voila!

I am on the hunt for neon Mickey heads for a TDS wristlet – pretty on brand for The Disney Social and my little ‘80s heart!

If anyone finds them, then let me know! Hope you have fun with this one.
