Wordle + disney

by | Mar 27, 2022 | Experiences, Lifestyle

2022 may go down as the ‘year of Wordle’. I’m going to assume that everyone reading this has heard of Wordle and played it at least once. It has taken the world by storm and, when something becomes this popular in such a short period of time, there will inevitably be copycats and spin-offs.

My friend Lis sent me a few Disney versions that I wanted to share with you. With these spin-offs, you get a daily dose of Disney AND Wordle. Who could ask for more?!

First up: Swordle – a Star Wars + Wordle hybrid.

The interface on this is amazing. It feels like you are looking at a screen straight from the Millennium Falcon. You must guess a five letter word that fits into the Star Wars universe. A few examples would be Chewy, Vader and the controversial (but my fave) Ewoks. See below for a link:

If Star Wars isn’t your bag, then you may want to consider the awkwardly named Mickeyrdle for a more classic Disney Twist.

I did this one today and I know it seems impossible, but I guessed it in one!! I felt prouder about this than I really should given that it’s totally based on luck and nothing else. Lightning struck! Again, a fun way to increase your Disney vocabulary. The interface could use a bit of help in comparison to the Swordle version.

You didn’t think Marvel would be excluded from this trend did you? I found this one the hardest and don’t ask me what Namor is… okay ask me – I will Google it. Namor is Marvel’s first mutant in print apparently. Again, lucky guess for me. Groot will always be in my top two guesses.

Endless amounts of fun. I know I will be playing Swordle as much as I can. I need to brush up on all of the lingo before we try to go to the Star Wars hotel!

Let us know how you do, or if you find more Disney word games that we should try!
